Kumari Club July 17, 2008- There were two games in the fourth day of the Tiger V Football Tournament. The first game was between BIM United(BIM 6th sem) and Spartans (BBA 4th “B”).
Defending champions, BIM United score their first goal in the 15 minutes
of the first half when Ravi J. Bhattarai of BIM united converted the corner shot of Roshan Ale Magar into goal. In the 19th minutes,the team captain of BIM united, Roshan Ale Magar got injured during the game play and substituted. Both the team tried to built pressure on their opponents but the first half ends with the score 1-0.
After the 6th minutes of second half, Bibek Man Singh of Spartans equalize a goal on one-on-one challenge with the defender of BIM United. Rupendra Gopali of BIM United gave their team a lead of 2-1 in the 31 minutes. Spartans seems losing their hope of winning the game when Ravi added another two goals in the 35 and 39 minutes and made a first hatrick in that Tiger V Football Tournament.
BIM united had 4-1 victory over Spartans.
The second game was between Danab (BIM 8th ) and Debaster (G) Team
(12 “F”) was started at 6:00 PM. Danab took a lead whenAlok pant scored a goal on a open post in the 7 minutes. Debaster showed a good passing skill in the game but they couldn’t got pass through the defense of Danab. They missed an opportunity in the 10 and 15 minutes to equalize the score and the first half ended with the score of a goal to a nil.
Debaster begun to attack on the second half and equalize the score when Mukesh Khadka of Debaster scored a goal in the 31st minutes. The game was likely to head to the extra time because no one added a goal after that. But, at the injury time of 2 minutes, Dhan K. Lama of Debaster scored a deciding goal that made Danab knocked out of the tournament.
